The
G4 Westish Rebel is a new model in the Sensation line, and is actually a
clever combination of two popular models. The name comes from Dana's (Nickers
founder/owner) daughter, Samantha, who coined the term "Westish" to describe
her riding style: a little bit English, a little bit Western!We often have riders who love the hybrid, but miss the feeling of those "wrap around" Western fenders against the leg, rather than the English type leathers. The Westish Rebel is a daring combination of both- the G3 Hybrid base with the seat and fenders of the Sensation G4 Western!
The Rebel comes standard with G4 rigging and a pommel bolster to create that deep, Western feeling pocket for your seat.
This saddle has 9 dee rings for attaching breastplates, saddle bags and trail accessories, and more rings may be added if desired.
Standard seat sizes are 16" - 17". If you normally ride in a 15" Western you should choose a 16" Rebel. Standard seat sizes can also be made smaller by using an optional seat bolster, which goes under the seat at the cantle and creates a smaller seat without permanently altering the saddle- great for a saddle that's used by multiple people or both adults and children.
The seat is removable (it attaches with velcro) and replaceable, and is available in a variety of foam materials and thicknesses, and your choice of leather colors and textures.
